I would recommend Michaels to anyone 10/10 Food, service and price is great. It is a little out of the way off the beaten path but we'll worth the visit. Building and decor is dated The menu prices for the quality and quantity of food, you can tell they spend their funds on that instead of a new building causing food prices to increase.
Our 1st time here! Food was hot fresh and delicious! The restaurant was clean. Our waitress Barbara was very nice and did her job very well! We just moved to athens and can't wait to come back!! My salad was fresh and so good! Fried chicken was awesome!
This was my first time. The food was great! Definitely a pleasant surprise. Probably the best food I have had for the money in a long time I certainly hope that I have the opportunity to eat here again. The staff was friendly and prompt. A quaint comfortable place to dine.
It's the second time i have been to Michael's....after several attempts to find a good steak in Athens I came upon this place ...the big ribeye is great I have had it twice now both times cooked and seasoned perfectly with a baked potato green beans and a salad it was beautiful and the price was definitely right.....but I have to mention the kid that waited on us both times was a very cool and went beyond the call of duty to make sure our orders were perfect ....I think his mame was shamus...sorry if I butchered it bud....but I think that was it he was great ask for him he's a sweet kid working his way though school....so for the best steak in Athens this is my choice and u have tried them all ....trust me
Great down home family restaurant with excellent service. Our server Peyton was fast, efficient and showed so much professionalism. I was a little concerned about flies flying around but the establishment was clean. I ordered the pulled pork platter with coleslaw and baked beans. The coleslaw was different as it had some red cabbage and a mayonnaise taste with a hint of sweetness. The beans were great and the pulled pork was good with the sauce. Also, the chicken strips looks more like filets. If it wasn't for the sign on I-75 I would have missed this jewel.
Nice, peaceful time at Michael's today. The Stroganoff was great, and the BBQ pull pork was delicious , the staff were friendly, professional, and always attentive that we had everything we needed. Love Michael's in Athens, TN. We'll definitely be back.
